my dt pack from anna’s craft cupboard this month had some october afternoon ducks in a row papers which is the one OA line i have never had a play with. i think this is because my kids were all born before scrapbooking and so the photos of them as little babies are not the best. i managed to get around this for archie with a collage though and love the result. i’ll have to do something similar for the girls….

i have had this year’s school photos for over a month now and because they are school photos i have been avoiding them. my dt pack from anna’s craft cupboard arrived yesterday and it had some of the the delicious october afternoon report card papers in it so i kind of had to finally do them lol. i ended up doing two 6×12 layouts so i could file them in one page protector but split them later when (if?) i ever get around to putting my albums in any sort of order.
i am glad they’re done though

i have a pretty long to do list but couldn’t resist doing a just because last night. this is using a combination of cosmo cricket early bird and october afternoon report card – two of my all time favourites.

did i mention i’m excited about scrapware? i haven’t received my goodies yet and what i have in my stash never lasts long, but i did manage to dig up these cute little clouds.

thanks for looking

…. and i couldn’t be bothered! i know, i can’t believe it either. i did manage to pop in at sfth for a shoppy fix and also make a quick card for my delicious nephew tom who is one next week so all was not lost. i am seriously in love with these maya road envelopes and since tom lives in qld and postage costs are ridiculous i bought him a voucher and just had to use another one!
this is the front
and the back

hopefully i will have more to share soon.
and *ahem* you know how i said i was winding things back? well some offers are too good to refuse
that is all i am saying for now!

when anna offered to let us choose our november dt packs i thought i would challenge my self and ask for some sassafras lass. i love, love, love sassafras but it also scares the &*$%^ out of me and i was cursing myself last night as i tried to put together a layout. i won’t even tell you how many pieces of cardstock died in the attempt but i did finally manage to come up with a layout i love. i just had to embrace the busy and go with it. i also added some token october afternoon stickers and some rw laser cuts chippy just to make me feel more at home lol

while i was challenging myself i decided to go the whole hog, admit the silly season is almost here and start my christmas cards. there are quite a few people we give gift vouchers to so i thought these christmas envelopes would be perfect.
